The Facebook owned online messaging service app WhatsApp announced that they are having 1.5 billion monthly active users. So, officially WhatsApp has become the world’s biggest messaging app.

WhatsApp is used to send 60 billion messages every day. On the New Years’ eve, WhatsApp set a new record of 75 billion messages sent on that day. That number eclipses any other day in its history with the previous record of 65 million on New Year’s Eve 2016 well and truly smashed.

As the app users are growing day by day, WhatsApp is continuing for new features and updates to keep the users happy.

Here we have some tips or secrets about WhatsApp that you may not aware of.

Watch YouTube videos on WhatsApp-

If someone sends you YouTube video link, you now not need to open it in YouTube. With the recent update, you can directly watch the video within app.

You just hit the play button and video will start playing in a floating window. It can be moved around the screen.

Meanwhile, you can also continue your conversation within the app while watching video. You can also jump between different chats.

 

Add stickers to your photos and videos-

Now, you can customize your photo before sending to someone with some unique stickers. You can tag a location, current time on any photos and videos and sent to an individual or a group.

Choose the photo you want to add effect from WhatsApp chat and then tap the smiling face at the top of the screen. It will show stickers and also time and location options.

Send money to Contacts-

If you want to send money to any of your contact, you can do it with WhatsApp. As per latest reports, the Company confirmed their plan to launch wireless money transfer to the WhatsApp.

The rollout comes after a beta trial of the new peer-to-peer payment system was trialed on around one million WhatsApp users.

The Facebook-owned messaging app will now push-out the functionality to every user in India. WhatsApp started to launch a limited service in India, where it has currently holds more than 200 million users.

Delete a Message-

If you have sent some message by mistake, you can delete it quickly. Just tap and hold the message. You will see pop-up with options to Reply, Forward, Copy and Delete.

Select Delete for Everyone will remove the message, but you have to do this within 7 minutes of sent. As per reports, WhatsApp is extending this time limit.

Make sure your stay hidden online-

If you don’t want anyone to know about your last online time, then you can do this via settings. Just go to Settings, and then Account and then Privacy>Last seen.
