World’s biggest social media platform Facebook is facing controversy about Data breaching. Facebook’s data is breached by the Cambridge Analytica. Now, the question is, how safe people’s data on the Facebook.
You and many people may be unknowingly sharing many personal details with third-party apps.
Here is a complete solution to prevent that sharing. Have a look:
With the Facebook, we stay in touch of our friends and relatives. It is using our personal data to provide us ads as per out likes and dislikes. Generally, when you log in to apps and webs via Facebook, they are giving permissions to those apps to have a look into your profile.
Well, Facebook doesn’t let them identify you as data is in bulk. The social networking site while sharing the information with any third party anonymises the data so that they are not able to know who you are.
If you have linked your phone number, it will also be shared but third party app can’t get that whose number it is.
Still, you should be concerned about privacy, you can edit the privacy settings.
Log in to your Facebook account and go to Settings.
Go to the URL: www.facebook.com/settings
On the left side panel, click on the Apps
You will get the list of the apps which are connected through your FB account. You can either edit the app setting or you can completely delete the app.
When you prefer to delete that app, that app will not be able to take any information from your Fb Account.
Now your information is safe from being shared by Facebook to different apps and companies.
