PM Narendra Modi gave warm welcome to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Wednesday. PM Shinzo Abe will attend 12th India-Japan annual summit meeting.
From the airport, both the leaders, along with Japan’s first lady took a road trip from the airport to Sabarmati Ashram in an open jeep. Japanese PM Shinzo Abe and his wife offered tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at the Ashram.
From Sabarmati Ashram, PM Modi along with Japan’s first couple went to Siddi Saiyyed Mosque which is known for its intricate artwork. After that PM Modi and PM Shinzo Abe along with his wife headed to the heritage hotel Agashiye which is located in front of Siddi Saiyyed Mosque for dinner.
Today, on 14 September 2017, PM Narendra Modi and Japan’s PM Shinzo Abe will lay the foundation stone for India’s first bullet train which will run from Ahmedabad to Mumbai.
PM Modi and PM Shinzo Abe’s Dinner:
On the visit of Japanese PM, Prime Minister Modi held a dinner for them at the heritage hotel of Ahmedabad, Agashiye. Dinner menu of Modi-Abe included Gujarati and Japanese items.
PM Modi, PM Shinzo Abe and his wife enjoyed dinner at the terrace of the restaurant. On the CG Wing, Japanese Prime Minister enjoyed delicious Gujarati food.
Dinner menu included items such as Salads, Palak Jamun, Rasavala Bteta, Bharela Parval, Undhiyu, Bhinda Kadhi, Gujarati Dal, Khichdi, Dryfruit Rice, Roti, Bajri Thepla, Jalebi and some Japanese food items.
Today, after laying foundation stone for Bullet train, both the leaders will head to Gandhinagar. Today at night PM Shinzo Abe will conclude his India visit.
