After facing lots of issues, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic film Padmavati now set to release. Padmavati film will release with a title PADMAVAT and release date is 25th January 2018, a day ahead of Republic Day.
Padmavat will clash with Akshay Kumar’s Pad Man and Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaary. It will be interesting to see which film gets more attention.
In fact, rumours of 25 January release for Padmavat began when Akshay Kumar suddenly rescheduled his film for 25 January than 26th January.
After so many hiccups, Padmavat film got green signal from CBFC with name change and some other changes in the film.
If the film does release on January 26, it will give stiff competition to Akshay’s Padman, which releases on January 25.
Padmavat film stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini, Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji.
Earlier Padmavati was set to release on December 1, 2017 but due to controversies, the film release pushed.
As per sources, some changes will be made in the film as Rajput Karni Sena is not ready to make the film release. Rajput Karni Sena is saying that film is destroying their royal history.
Well, some changes may be like this:
Film will release with name PADMAVAT
Some modification in Ghoomar Song
Film will release as an imaginary story
Historical places are changed where shooting was done
