IT e-filing website is incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in and now it has new link on homepage which redirects for connecting Aadhaar with PAN.
Anyone can use this facility to link Aadhaar and PAN, even if he/she is not a taxpayer. So one doesn’t need to log in or register on this website.
You can find ‘Link Aadhaar’ blinking button in the left side widget under the Service section. It will redirect to the linking page.
A person need to enter his or her PAN number, Aadhaar number and exact name as mentioned on Aadhaar card.

The OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number of the individual as provided in the Aadhaar database.
A user need to ensure their details in PAN and Aadhaar are exactly the same so that they don’t need to face failure.
The Income tax department launched this new facility as they were receiving many complaints about some minor mismatch data and due to that they could not link the two IDs.
