Today morning Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for 3-nation tour including Portugal, US and Netherlands. His first destination is Portugal while then he will visit US and then Netherlands.
On Friday, PM Modi said, “My USA visit is aimed at deepening ties between our nations. Strong India-USA ties benefit our nations & the world. My visit to Netherlands seeks to boost bilateral ties and deepen economic cooperation,”
After Presidential election in US, Indian PM Modi will visit President Donald Trump for the first time on 26 June in Washington. As per PM Modi’s Facebook post, he is visiting Washington at the invitation of US President. Even President Trump will arrange a dinner at the White House on Monday, 26 June.
At the White House, PM Modi and President Trump’s working dinner is the first dinner for a foreign leader under Trump’s administration.

PM Modi Visit to Portugal:
Today PM Modi will reach Portugal where he will meet PM Antonio Costa.
About Portugal visit PM said, “We will also discuss ways to further enhance the bilateral engagement, especially in the areas of economic cooperation, science & technology, space collaboration and people to people ties,”
PM Modi will also check bilateral trade and investment ties. During the visit, PM Modi will also meet Indian community there.
PM Narendra Modi US visit:
Modi will be in US for 2 days – 25 and 26 June. He will have official meeting with President Trump and also dinner at White House. Indian Prime Minister will also meet some CEOs of American companies.
Also he will interact Indian community of US. PM Modi posted in a mail, “I would be coming to Washington DC for a visit starting 24th June. During my visit I would be holding talks with President Trump on ways to boost India-USA ties,”
On 25th June, PM Modi will address Indian community in Washington.
PM Modi Visit to Netherlands:
After Portugal and US, PM Modi will leave to the Netherlands on 27 June. He will meet Dutch PM Mark Rutte and call on King Willem- Alexander and meet Queen Maxima.
This year India and Netherlands are celebrating 70 years of Indo-Dutch diplomatic relations. Both countries’ PMs will exchange views on some global issues.
PM will also meet some leading companies’ CEOs of Netherlands and encourage them to join Indian industry.
