Reliance Jio is offering 100% cashback on JioFi 4G route. After getting successful launch of Jio 4g network, now Jio is ready to attract users of dongles, datacard and routers.
There are numbers of telecom companies offering data offers using dongles, datacard and router so now Mukesh Ambani aims to overcome them.
As per new plan, JioFi users will get 100% exchange offer where they need to exchange their existing datacard, dongle or hotspot router at any Jio Digital store or Jio care. For this exchange, user will get 4G data worth Rs 2010 for the device exchanged.
JioFi new customers will have to pay Rs 1999 for JioFi Router and then have to make mandatory recharge of Rs 408 that is Rs 309 plan and Rs 99 for Jio Prime membership. This Rs 408 plan gives you 4G data for 84 days.
So, the customer pays Rs 1999 minus the Rs 2010 worth 4G data which means zero cost for the customer. And the device with data connection becomes free. But the Rs 408 mandatory recharge is the additional cost which the user will have to pay in order to avail the services.
Now, come to 2nd plan of JioFi…
Users need to pay RS 1999 for JioFi router and first recharge of Rs 408. But user get 4g data worth Rs 1005 which is effectively Rs 994. For this plan, users don’t need to exchange their existing data connection.
The first plan is suitable for all existing dongle users while the second plan is ideal for laptop users, 2g/3g phone users.
Currently Jio is offering 4 JioFi devices in the market namely JioFi 1 router, JioFi 2 router, JioFi 3 router, JioFi 4 Dongle.
In the second plan, Jio is offering free data which helps to get first time users or who are willing to keep multiple connections. As Jio want to expand the subscriber-base for its routers.
As per data, Reliance retail sold 2.6 million LYF and JioFi devices in the last quarter and almost 10 million units in a year.
