Today, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani laid foundation stone for new bus stand in Rajkot. New modern bus stand of Rajkot will be built at the same place where current bus stand is working. Rajkot’s new bus stand will have airport like amenities.

Under PPP (Public-Private Partnership) model, Rajkot new bus stand will be built and it will cost Rs 154. 12 Crore. State Government is renovating total 10 cities’ bus stands to a modern one.

Earlier Ahmedabad and Vadodara city bus stands are rebuilt and are having high-level amenities. CM Rupani laid foundation stone at current bus stand’s gate no. 1. Currently, everyday around 1200 buses are running to and from Rajkot.

Rajkot New Bus Stand Amenities:

New Bus Stand building will be 8 floored. Government will also add CCTV cameras and GPS for the safety concern.

Even there will be TV and other entertainment active for the waiting passengers.

In the new bus stand, there will be underground parking. And ground floor will make buses available for the transportation.

On the ground floor, 20 buses can be parked together.

First Floor will have common facilities for the passengers. While other seven floors will have around 100 shops, offices, hotels, restaurant, theatre and more.
