On Friday, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav expelled UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. Mulayam Singh also expelled party general secretary and his cousin Ramgopal Yadav for 6 years.
Ramgopal Yadav had called emergency meeting on 1st January. This decision created political crisis in Uttar Pradesh state. Mulayam Singh was not happy with Akhilesh’s parallel list and the remarks which Ramgopal made in public.
Samajwadi party chief Mulayam said, “No one has the right to call for a national executive meet other than the party chief; by doing this you have hurt the party’s interest. New Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh will be decided by us, we have to save the party, that is why we have expelled both Akhilesh and Ramgopal.”
After this news, many supporters of AKhilesh Yadav protested in front of Mulayam Singh Yadav’s home. As Mulayam said he had taken this action to save his party. He also appealed party workers to not to attended the meeting which is called by Akhilesh and Ramgopal.
Well, in response, Ramgopal Yadav urged the party workers to come to Ram Manohar Lohiya Univeristy at 11:00 am on 1st January 2017.
Akhilesh had a stiff with his father Mulayam Singh Yadav over ticket distribution. On Thursday, Akhilesh Yadav released 235 candidates’ list for upcoming UP Assembly elections 2017. As before Akhilesh, his father and Party leader released the official list.
Akhilesh also met his father to change the list as per his requirement but Mulyam Singh did not agree.
