Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan thanked Global Citizen Festival India for highlighting social issues. Recently, on 19th November, British Band Coldplay organized its GCFI in Mumbai. Many popular bollywood stars joined the Chris Martin’s live show.
Actor and Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar also thanked GCFI for highlighting social issues like primary education, gender inequality and sanitation in India.
Shahrukh and Farhan Akhtar thanked the conveners and CEO of GCFI Hugh Evans for putting importance on social issues of the country.

Farhan Akhtar performed with Amitabh Bachchan at the Coldplay’s live in concert in Mumbai. Coldplay concert took place on 19th November, Saturday at MMRDA Ground in Mumbai.
When Coldplayy band arrived on the stage at event, Chris Martin addressed the crowd,
“Ye hamari khushkismati hai ke hum itne khoobsurat desh mein aaye hain,”
Global Citizen in Coldplay’s annual event and it happens every year in US. While this is first time when it is held in India. Last year, When Chris Martin visited India, he had met PM Narendra Modi and had discussion over several issues.
Almost 1 Lakh people enjoyed the Coldplay Live in Concert where bollywood and International artists gathered and performed.
Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, A R Rahman, Sachin Tendulkar, Ratan Tata, Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, Monali Thakur, Katrina Kaif and many more Indian celebs shared the stage.
