Here comes a good news for the people who need withdrawal of money. Kishor Biyani’s Big Bazaar comes to the rescue of the people. On Tuesday, Big Bazaar announced the facility to withdraw up to Rs 2000 from their stores.
State Bank of India has helped Big Bazaar to start this activity. SBI Provided their banks’ cash at POS machines. Currently, this facility is available at 258 Big Bazaar and FBB Stores in more than 115 cities across India.
So, now one can dispense money from Big Bazaar or FBB Stores at their dedicated cash counters. At the store counter, the user need to swipe their ATM or debit card and enter your PIN. Then you can withdraw up to Rs 2000 from your bank account.
As per RBI and Union Government’s notification, there will be also all applicable restrictions. Now, money withdrawal facility will start from 24th November 2016. Future Group’s CEO Kishore Biyani Tweeted,
“Now one can withdraw 2000rs from Big Bazaar using your debit card from this Thursday onwards.”
A customer will need to swipe his card at cash counter of the store, and in turn, he can take away upto Rs 2,000.
“We are trying hard to ease any difficulties faced by customers due to the demonetization of some currency notes and support the government’s initiative in meeting its objective, now with customers being able to withdraw cash at Big Bazaar stores, they are welcome to visit our stores instead of queuing up at banks and ATMs.”
Recently Union Government allowed to withdraw up to Rs 2000 at selected petrol pumps using POS machines.
On 8th November, when PM Modi announced ban on Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, Big Bazaar had declared that it will continue to accept old notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 till midnight of 8th November.
