Soundarya Ashwin, elder daughter of Superstar and God of South Indian people, Rajinikanth has been appointed as brand ambassador of Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI). She is known for directing superstar Rajiniknth in India’s first motion capture 3D film “Kochadaiiyaan”.
According to AWBI’s vice Chairman, S. Chinny Krishna’s statement, “AWBI is happy to announce that Soundarya Ashwin has accepted our invitation to be a co-opted member of the Board and, in addition, to serve as a member of its Performing Animals Sub-Committee.”
He also added that Soundarya Ashwin will serve as the ambassador of the AWBI to the film community. Soundarya Ashwin will also work with them to confirm that their creativity in films is not affected while, at the same time, protecting the happiness of animals used in movies and entertainment.
Second daughter of celebrity Rajinikanth, Soundarya Ashwin has also set that her marriage to industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar was coming to an end and that divorce talks have been started.
Yesterday, 16th September, 2016, Soundarya Ahswin tweeted that, “News about my marriage is true. We have been separated for over a year and divorce talks are on. I request all to respect my family’s privacy.”
Soundarya and Industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar got married in 2010 and they also have one year old son. She has also worked in many Tamil movies such as “Baba”, “Sandakozhi” and “Sivaji” among others. Soundarya Ashwin is also the founder of Ocher Picture Productions.
She is famous for directing her father, Rajinikanth in India’s first motion capture 3D Tamil film “Kochadaiiyaan”, and producing Venkat Prabhu-directed 2010 Tamil comedy “Goa”.
