Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel, who is first women Chief Minister of state has offered her resignation. In last 1 year, her own state is ruined by Patel agitation and Dalit Protests. She shared that she wanted to get released from the responsibilities of Gujarat’s Chief Minister.
India’s politics and Gujarat people gets sudden shock by Anandiben’s decision. She also said that it is time that the young generations should be given opportunity to work.
BJP President Amit Shah said, “She has requested the party to relieve her of the post. I will place the letter she has written to me before the (BJP) parliamentary board and it will take a decision. She has said that if a new person has to be brought in, then he should get time.”
Now, who will be next cm of Gujarat after Anandiben question is trending on top. Many BJP ministers are frontrunners to be the Gujarat’s new CM. BJP Gujarat President Vijay Rupani is the most favourite frontrunner in the race of Gujarat’s next Chief.
Reacting on CM Anandiben’s Resignation, Congress’s Rahul Gandhi said, “13 years of Modi rule, not 2 years of Anandiben are responsible for Gujarat burning. Sacrificing the scapegoat won’t save the BJP.”
Rahul Gandhi blamed again India’s most favourite Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was CM of Gujarat for 13 years, responsible for violence in Gujarat.
BJP Gujarat President Vijay Rupani is having close relation to PM Modi so there is more probability of being him next CM of Gujarat. Vijay Rupani is the only present cabinet minister who was in jail during emergency.
Apart from Vijaybhai, State Health Minister Nitin Patel is also named in race of being Gujarat’s CM. Nitin Patel has less chances as Patidar community is being against him from Patel agitation. Parshottam Rupala’s name is also buzzing in the list.
Soon, BJP’s meeting will be held in New Delhi to consider Gujarat’s situation, with consideration of 2017’s general assembly elections.
