Recently Forbes released its “100 Richest Tech Billionaires in The World in 2016” list and there is two Indians have been ranked among the top 20 Richest Tech Tycoons.
Wipro Chairman Azim Premji and HCl co-founder Shiv Nadar are the two Indian billionaires in Forbes’s list of the world’s richest tech tycoons. Azim Premji and Shiv Nadar have been ranked #13 and #17 in Forbes’s list of the world’s richest tech tycoons.

Azim Premji – Wipro Chairman : 13th Rank
Shiv Nadar – HCL Co-Founder : 17th Rank
The Microsoft founder Bill Gates has been topped in the “100 Richest Tech Billionaires In The World 2016” with estimated fortune of USD 78 billion.
Mr. Azim Premji has been ranked 13th on this Forbes’s list with a net worth of USD 16 billion and Mr. Shiv Nadar has been ranked 17th on this list with a net worth of USD 11.6 billion.
Forbes said, “Azim Premji leads Indian’s third largest outsourcer. Wipro has been on a buying spree in the last year. And also Azim Premji’s son Rishad oversees Wipro’s USD 100 million venture capital fund.”
Co-founder of HCL, Shiv Nadar owns HCL talentCare, a skills-development firms that provides training to new graduates students. Shiv Nadar’s recent venture is a USD 500 million fund to invest in startups and also in US healthcare tech firms.

China has the second highest number of richest tech tycoons. China has 19 richest tech tycoons with the net worth a combined USD 132.7 billion. And also Canada has five tech billionaires and Germany has four tech billionaires.
From last year list of world’s 100 richest tech billionaires, Azim Premji ranks slipped two pints from 11 and 15. And once again this year, this list has been topped by Bill Gates with a net worth $78 billion.
