IIT JEE Advanced Exams 2016 result is declared on 10th June 2016 on its official website jeeadv.ac.in. Jaipur’s Aman Bansal is the topper of IIT JEE Advanced 2016 exams. The next two places are secured by Bhavesh Dhingra and Kunal Goyal.
Point to be noted is that not a single girl is in the top 100 students’ list of JEE Advanced 2016 scorer. Over 1,55,948 candidates had registered for the exam and 36,566 qualified, as per the official JEE website. Of these 31,996 are boys and 4,570 are girls. Riya Singh from Kota is the topper among girls with an all-India ranking of 133.
From Gujarat, 3 students secured their ranks in top 100 list. Shivam Patel from Vadodara is on rank 39 with 268 marks, Yash Shah from Vadodara is on rank 47 with 262 marks and Parth Shah from Ahmedabad is on rank 91 with 248 marks.
JEE Advanced 2016 topper Aman Bansal from Jaipur said he never bothered about rankings and now plans to pursue the coveted B Tech course in Computer Science from IIT Mumbai. He suggests that students should “take pressure positively” for preparing for competitive exams.
Aman Bansal is a student of Jayshree Periwal High School and he also said, “we should seek help from our teachers and our parents. This would help us get rid of stress.” Aman had scored 98 per cent marks in Class 12 with 100 per cent marks in Chemistry and 99 per cent marks in Mathematics.
Joint Entrance Exams (JEE) Advanced was organised by IIT Guwahati in collaboration with the Joint Admission Board 2016 across various centres throughout the country for admission to engineering courses.
