An Air Ambulance has crash landed in a field in Najafgarh near New Delhi on today afternoon, 24th May 2016. Chartered plane had taken off from Patna and about to land in Delhi but it crashed at aroun 2:45 pm. Directorate General of Civil Aviation has started investigation in the accident.
As per the reports, the chartered plane’s engine got fail and for that it needed to crash land in Najafgarh area. Air Ambulance was on board with 7 people from which 2 people got injured. Fire tenders and emergency services have arrived at the spot and relief and rescue work is on.
The aircraft was 6 nautical miles away from Delhi when the pilot of crash landing plane contacted the ATC to report about engine failure. The Beechcraft King Air C90 plane was being operated was manufactured in 1989.
The pilot of the aircraft became the hero as he saved 7 lives.
