World Earth Day 2016 : Google Celebrates with Five Beautiful Doodles

The Earth Day 2016 is on 22nd April 2016, Friday. The most popular search engine giant Google is known for celebrating significant days with its doodles. Today Google is celebrating Earth Day 2016 showing five different biomes from around the world. Google says, “The one day that transcends culture, language, and tradition.” Google’s Doodler Sophie Diao shared some of her thoughts on this Earth Day 2016.

Earth Day is celebrated for the people awareness of environmental issues by devoting a day to environmental events and education.

Sophie said in her blogspot that, “The vastness of Earth’s diversity makes it an intimidating topic, but in the end I chose to highlight Earth’s five major biomes: the tundra, forest, grasslands, desert, and coral reefs. In each illustration, you’ll find one animal who’s been singled out for their 15 minutes of fame.”

“On a day like this, we remember and celebrate our home in this great and stunning ecosystem.” said Sophie. Earth Day, observed annually on April 22 since the event began in the late 1960s.

In one doodle you can see the lonely polar bear is on ice sheet. It shows Google Logo in the melting ice. Second shows you a fox running in forest. In this picture the Google Logo is in formed of patches in the patterns on the trees of forest. And fox is running through the trees on foreground.

Third is shows elephant and sunset scene. In this photo the Google Logo is places on the trees and others as the letters. Fourth will shows you picture of turtle. Finally the last shows the underwater coral reefs with an octopus.

So the Google celebrated Earth Day 2016 with five colors doodles where five animals polar bear, fox, elephant, tortoise and octopus.
