The South Korean Company Samsung announced its new Samsung Galaxy J3 (6) with S bike mode on 31st March 2016, Thursday. It is specially made for two wheeler riders. It is industry’s first” feature designed for two-wheeler riders. It will make life easy for every two wheeler riders who are taking calls while in motion.
The “S Bike Mode” feature for this handset is developed by India team. In this mode, you can activate in your handset then caller can get notified by automated answering machine that the user is riding and cannot take a call. If any emergency from caller side, then caller can press 1 to express emergency speak with biker.

At that time biker can notified incoming call. Then biker can stop the bike and received the call. Samsung India Senior Vice President, Asim Warsi said that, “We are working on bringing in meaningful innovations that make people’s lives better. While studying the consumers’ phone usage behaviour, we realised that incoming calls are a major distraction to bikers. About 70 per cent of our users in India are two-wheeler users…This feature is our effort to promote responsible riding.”
The Samsung Galaxy J3 (6) comes with 5 inch display and 1.5 GHz quad core processor. There is 1.5 GB RAM in Samsung Galaxy J3 (6) smartphone. Its internal storage will be 8 GB and it can be expandable upto 128 GB. There 8 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera are in Samsung Galaxy J3 (6) smartphone. Samsung Galaxy J3 (6) smartphone packs 2,600 mAh battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 (6) will be available exclusively on e-commerce platform, Snapdeal. The Samsung Galaxy J3 (6) smartphone is priced at Rs 8,990.
Samsung India Director Mobile business, Manu Sharma said that, “We have received interest from other emerging countries and will look at the possibility of taking it to these markets. Also, we are exploring extending this to our other mass and mid-segment 4G devices in India.”
Manu Sharma added, “The J series accounts for about 20 per cent of the industry’s smartphone sales in value terms already as per syndicated industry reports.”
