The India all-rounder Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja got married with Riva Solanki on 17th April 2016, Sunday. The private ceremony was held at Seasons hotel in Rajkot. Currently Indian cricketer Ravindra is busy in Indian Premiere League (IPL) season 9. Ravindra wore ‘Sherwani’ and ‘Kathiawadi saafa’ in the marriage.
27-year-old Ravindra tied knot with 25-year-old Riva Solanki. Riva is a mechanical engineer and daughter of local contractor. She looked beautiful in a red and golden bridal lehenga with ethnic Gujarati embroidery. Riva hails from Junagadh district of Gujarat. They both got engaged in February 2016.
Ravindra was arrived at the wedding venue in his new Audi Q7 car. The car was decorated with roses. The private marriage was attended by both families and close friends of Riva and Ravindra. The hast melap was at 10 am at the pool side lawn of a hotel. Lot of his friends from cricket world wouldn’t attend the wedding because all are busy in IPL.
The sangeet ceremony was celebrated in Royal way. As the couple entered the ceremony hall, at that time loud music was begun to play in background. The music started with the song “Azeem O Shaan Shahenshah”. Jadeja’s engagement ceremony was held at his own hotel Jaddus in Rajkot.
One relative was firing with his gun in the air. She captured in camera. Rajkot (Rural) Superintendent of Police Antrip Sood said that, “We have initiated inquiry to find if the revolver used was licenced or not. We will decide on taking action after investigation.”
Rivaba is only child of her parents. Rivaba is based in Delhi now. She is preparing for UPSC exam. Sitanshu Kotak, the assistant coach of Team Gujarat, told us, “The entire team has been invited for the wedding reception on Sunday evening.”
Rajkot boy Cheteshwar Pujara told us, “I couldn’t attend the wedding as I was in Mumbai but I have plans to attend the reception.” Our source adds, “On Monday, the couple will head to Hadatoda in Jamnagar, Jadeja’s native village. There are a few more rituals lined up and after that, some celebrations have been planned there, which includes a mega cultural event.”
