Himesh Reshammiya’s Teraa Surroor is released today, on 11th March 2016. Tera Surroor Movie 2016 is a sequel of Aap Ka Suroor Movie. It seems like Himesh has decided to go through the same expression in an entire film.
Teraa Surroor is the story of an Indian guy called Raghuveer (Himesh) whose girlfriend Tara Wadia (Farah Karimi) is caught in Ireland with drugs in her possession. She is convicted, and to prove her innocence, Raghu must find Anirudh Brahman, the stranger who assisted Tara on Facebook and invited her to that country.
Almost the entire film appears to have been shot abroad, no expense has been spared on the casting of the Indian supporting actors, and the production design, cinematography and sound design are top-notch. Strangely though, the foreigners in bit parts uniformly laughably bad.
This film is as flat as Farah Karimi’s enviably slim waist, as bland as Maggi Noodles without the Tastemaker and as pointless in its existence as the human appendix.
The plot of Teraa Surroor movie could have been better. Also the twists and turns in the second half are way too many to keep a track of. Himesh’s change of heart after the final revelation in the second half is a bit unconvincing.
