The Festival of Color, Holi is around the corner for 2016 celebration. Everyone celebrates the Holi festival with family and friends with lots of fun but at that time, we are forgetting to protect our skin and hair. After playing Holi, we need to struggle a lot in removing colors from the body.
So this time we have some easy Home remedies tips for Your Hair and Skin so that you can make your skin and hair Holi-proof.
Precautions/Tips Before Playing Holi:
Skin Care Tips for Holi Celebration:
Apply Olive Oil on your skin after playing Holi. Leave your skin to absorb it for 20 minutes and then wash it with water and cleansing milk.
Apply a good amount of moisturiser, with an SPF, on all over your body
Avoid Synthetic Clothes and denim, wear dark colors and full sleeved cotton clothes
On Lips, apply Lip balm
Do not wear Contact Lenses.
Apply two plentiful layer of oil to your hair, face, neck, shoulders, arms, legs and any exposed area of your body, especially the insides of your ears and navel, and the area between fingers and toes.
If you can, don’t go for any beauty treatment before 3 4 days of Holi like Wax, threading, facial treatment, etc.
Apply a thick coat of dark nail paint before Holi and remove it after playing Holi
Hair Care Tips for Holi Celebration:
Tie up your hair into a bun if it is long
Apply oil in Hair before playing Holi
Precautions/Tips after Playing Holi:
Besan and Turmeric pack-
Gram flour (Besan), a quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder (Haldi), 2 teaspoons of fresh curd and a few drops of lime juice. Make a paste of these ingredients and apply it on the stained areas. Let it dry and then rub it in till it starts to peel off and then wash with soap and water
First try to wash colors off the face with water and then rub the face with a banana pulp. Powder the Nutmeg(Jaiphal) and add cream to it (malai) and use it as an exfoliating scrub.
Rinse your hair with water before washing them with shampoo. Let the shampoo stay on for at least 10 minutes before you wash it off.
