Mini has launched its new generation Cooper Convertible car in India, priced at Rs 34.9 lakh ex-showroom. The BMW India launched owned Mini Cooper Convertible in India on 16th March 2016. The Car is available in three door version. The Cooper Covertible is 98 mm longer, 44 mm wider and 1 mm higher than its predecessor.
This new Mini Convertible is based on a new UKL platform. The Mini Convertible gets a 1.5 litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine which promises a power delivery of 133bhp. And also there is a 1.5 litre diesel engine available at well which boats of 115bhp on demand.
There both engines comes with paired of 6 speed automatic gearbox. It is bigger than its predecessor. The new Mini Cooper Convertible also offers a more spacious cabin since it has 28 mm bigger wheelbase. The Mini Convertible’s roof can be opened and shut in 18 seconds with speed up to 30 kmph. The new Mini Cooper Convertible is available in price of INR 34.9 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
The Mini Convertible comes with essential safety features including automatic stability control plus transaction, airbag protection, ABS (Anti-lock Breaking System), four disc brakes, EBD (Electronic Breakforce Distribution), dynamic stability control, break assist and many others.
