A fourth month old baby girl survived more than 20 heart attacks over two minutes. A doctor team successfully operated to girl. The surgery performed on 22nd February 2016 at Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. Doctors said to reporters that “She is now fine and Doing well.”
The four month old baby girl name is Aditi Giblie. She was suffering from repeated minor heart attacks and visited more than 10 specialists. She suffered from the rare congenital heart disease, medically termed as Anomalous Left Coronary Artery from Pulmonary Artery (ALCAPA).
According to her parents Pramod and Preety, she started showing symptoms of the disease on the tenth day after her birth and they immediately took her to their family doctor. The baby girl was born with this defect. Aditi is now fine and set to be discharge in one or two days. Aditi was born on 20 October 2015.
Dr Shivaprakash said that, “Nine out of 10 such babies die within a year. In this case, the credit goes to especially the mother, to pick up the signs.” Dr. Shivaprakash is chief surgeon and head of Paediatric Heart Centre at the hospital, who operated on the Aditi on 22 February 2016.
