After an Ice landslide six days ago in a remote area of Himalayans, a miracle happened that one from the 10 soldiers have been rescued alive. Lance Naik Hanamanthappa Koppad was buried under 25 feet of ice in temperatures close to minus 40 degrees for six days. He was found on Monday night, 8th February 2016 and there was no chance of him being alive as only his pulse was working.

The 33-year-old soldier of the 19th Battalion of Madras Regiment is survived by his wife Mahadevi Ashok Bilebal and two-year-old daughter Netra Koppad.

RIP and Heartily Salute to India’s Hero Hanamanthappa Koppad…
