Royal Enfield launched Himalayan Bike coming to India in March 2016. Royal Enfield is the maker of iconic bullet motorcycles. It’s new Royal Enfield Himalayan launched on 2nd February 2016, Tuesday. Himalayan is an adventure motorcycle for enthusiasts who love touring.
This bike is purpose built and features its new LS410 – a 411 cc overhead camshaft single-cylinder petrol engine. This bike is carbureted and not fuel injected. This engine puts out 24.5 bhp (26PS) of power and 32 Nm of torque. It will be running on special off road tyres developed by Ceat. Himalayan will be available in two versions of it, one for off-road and other for cities.

Royal Enfield Himalayan will be officially launch and go on sale in March 2016. The bike was under development for two years. Himalayan has been tested for its on road and off road capabilities. The Royal Enfield Himalayan – an adventure motorcycle is expected to be priced at over Rs. 2 lakh.
The bike has been built on an entirely new engine platform. The company claims that the Royal Enfield Himalayan is built for Himalayas. It will be the cheapest adventure motorcycle on sale in our two-wheeler market.
