According to his family, He had battling brain cancer for some time. Daniel Gerson was 49-year-old. An American screenwriter is best known for his work with Pixar and Disney.

Daniel Gerson co-wrote Disney/Pixar’s “Monsters, Inc.” movies and “Big Hero 6”. Daniel frequently collaborated with Robert L. Baird. The duo co-wrote together “Monsters, Inc.” and its prequel, “Monsters University,” as well as “Big Hero 6”.
