An all new Superfast train connecting Delhi and Varanasi was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22 January 2016. Train named The Mahamana Express connects New Delhi and Varanasi via Lucknow in just 14 hours. The Train leaves every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Varanasi.

The Mahamana Express is the mega luxurious train. The train’s interiors and facilities were class apart and people were glad to see such a modern transformation in Indian railways. But you wouldn’t believe how passengers have trashed this beautiful new train in its opening week of service.

It’s a sorry mess. Within a week the condition of brand new train has turned into a dirty place. A dirty water is lying in wash basins.

Trash has been thrown around train. Newspapers and other trash like groundnut shells, food wrappers, empty bottles is scattered everywhere inside this newly launched train. People should have to keep their conduct the same way as they like to stay in their clean homes, even when they are travelling.

If people transport gets a treatment as a private property, then hopefully, the condition will be better. It is insulted by passengers. Is our “Swachh Bharat” mission failed?

From this situation we guess that, it is failed.

Some habits of people will never change. But please keep clean to your city then this mission will be success.

The next time we want to blame the authorities about something, let’s think of this. What about all the things we do?

We as Indian should be ashamed of ourselves if this is how we’re going to treat public property.

We desire world class facilities but do we really deserve them? Before smart cities, India needs smart citizens…
