Gujarati Movie production company Cineman Productions Ltd and Bollywood production company Phantom Films announced tie up for making three Gujarati Movies. It is a national tie up. The Gujarati film industry market is just opening up. Cineman Procuctions Ltd is Ahmedabad Based company.
Abhishek Jain is the head of Cineman Productions Ltd. Abhishek Jain has been given Gujarati films like Kevi Rite Jaish and Bey Yaar. Phantom Films is a first of its kind film director’s company in India, the partners of which are Vikas Bahl, Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena.
Abhishek Jain said in the press conference that, “The intention of this tie-up is to give Gujarati films a national level projection. The experience and the expertise will help us achieve this.”
Phantom Films will produce three Gujarati Film in this year. Both the company announced officialy on 10th February 2016. Phantom films is jointly owned by Vikas Bahl, Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena.
Director of superhit movie Queen, Vikas Bahl said that if any of the Gujarati movies is good, then a remake of the same in Hindi cinema may also be on the cards. He said that, “This is the first bunch of people we have associated with in terms of regional cinema and hopefully more films will follow.”
First movie of the tie up is a thriller drama movie. Pratik Gandhi, Asif Basrea, Kavi Shastri and Kimberley Louisa Mcbeath starrer this movie directed by debutante director Mikhil Musale. Music will be given Sachin-Jigar. The movie has been written by Niren Bhatt, Karan Vyas and Mukhil Musale.
And second film of the tie up will be Directed by Abhishek Jain himself. This movie will be announced soon because it is in writing stage now. The third film will be directed by a new talent who will be selected from a writing and direction workshop that will be held later this year by Cineman and Phantom.
