Bajaj Auto lunched a new bike V on 1st February 2016, Monday. This is Bajaj Auto’s new commuter motorcycle “V” is seen on display during its unveiling ceremony in New Delhi, India. The 150 cc bike “v”, which contains metal from India’s first aircraft carrier INS Vikrant. The bike will be sale on March and its final price would be announced at that time.
This commuter segment bike is expected to be priced between Rs 60,000 to Rs 70,000. But the actual price will be announced at the time of saling of Bajaj V. The Bajaj V uses scrap metal from INS Vikrant. It comes powered by a new 150cc DTS-i engine that develops 11.76 bhp and 13Nm. The Bajaj V comes with an18 inch Eurogrip tyre in the front and 16 inch at the rear. Furthermore, the bike will also carry INS Vikrant insignia on the fuel tank.

Bajaj V is offered with two color choices :
Ebony Black and Pearl White
Bajaj Auto President Eric Vas told to reporters that, “The V has been designed and built to be invincible and will change the experience of commuter biking, The Bajaj V shall usher a new era in commuter motorcycling. We believe the Indian customer buying a commuter motorcycle deserves something that is substantial, solid, and which moves with a sense of purpose.”
Bajaj V’s Expected Price Range :
Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 70,000
Bajaj Auto Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj said, “We will start with a capacity of 20,000 units month and should demand exceed that, there is no problem in enhancing the capacity further.” And he added that “We would first like to focus on the domestic market. The commuter segment is very strong here with market of over five lakh units. Some time down the line we might start exporting it as well.”
This new Bajaj V will hit the showrooms in March 2016.
