The much-awaited direct Ahmedabad to London flight is set to take off from Tuesday, 15 December 2015 and will be flagged off at Ahmedabad’s Sardar Patel International Airport by Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Saurabh Patel. Minister Saurabh Patel will inaugurate the Direct Flight of Ahmedabad to London on Monday, 14 December 2015.
The Air India flight will take off from Ahmedabad at 4.30 am to reach Mumbai at 5.45 am, depart from Mumbai at 7.05 am and reach London at 11.30 pm (local time). On the return sector, flight AI-130 will leave London at 1.30 pm (local time), arrive at Mumbai at 4 am the following day and land in Ahmedabad at 6.45 am.

When Ahmedabad to London Flight will reach?:
For the direct flight, Air India will arrange a Boeing B-787 Dreamliner which can accommodate up to 300 passengers. The flight will be a boon to the 1.5 million-strong Indian diaspora and cater to the strong demand of over 6,00,000 Gujarati people living and working there.
On the return leg, flight AI-130 will leave London at 13:30 hours, arrive at Mumbai at 4:00 hours next day from where it will take off at 0530 hours and land at Ahmedabad at 0645 hours, Air India said.
Last month, Air India had announced that it will launch a daily direct flight between Ahmedabad and London following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement of the same during his UK visit.
