Gir National Park will be opening soon so that visitors can see the live Asiatic lion in Talala Gir National Forest of Gujarat. Gir National park will be reopened from 16 October 2015.

Sasan Gir or Gir National Park online permit for Sinh Darshan (Lion Visit) 2015 are already 50% booked so now anyone who wants to visit Gir National Park, have to get current booking from the national park. Asiatic lions were in vacation as 4 months of monsoon season are mating period for them. Forest Department is allotting 150 online permit at the opening of Sinh Darshan, from which 50 percent permits are booked.
Every day there are 3 trips for Sinh Darshan in Gir National Park. Every day there will be 3 trips scheduled at 6:00 am, 9:00 am and 3:00 pm with 50 permits each trip. Sinh Darshan is very beneficial for State Government as from 1 April to 15 June 2015, there were around 1.63 Lakh visitors visited Sinh Darshan in Gir National Park and the government has earned Rs 2.85 Crore.
