Pepsi IPL 8 T20 League 2015 is starting from 8th April 2015 and the much awaited IPL season 8 opening ceremony would be held on 7th April 2015 in Eden Gardens Kolkata. Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan, Anushka Sharma and Shahid Kapoor would give splendid performance in the inauguration ceremony of T20 league.
Indian Cricket legend Mansoor Ali Khan pataudi’s son and Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan will host the IPL 8 2015 opening ceremony. During the 2 hours show, actor-director Farhan Akhtar will belt out songs with his band. Anushka Sharma, Hrithik Roshan have arrived in Kolkata.
IPL T20 League Season 8 2015 :
Date – 7th April 2015
Venue – Eden Gardens, Kolkata, West Bengal
Time – 7:30 pm
The T20 league season 8 will start at 7:30 pm and continues for 2 hours. Tickets for the opening ceremony, which start at Rs.200, can be purchased online at iplt20.com or from gate No.1 and 4 of the Salt Lake Stadium. All eight team captains will be present to take the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) Spirit of Cricket pledge.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni, Delhi Daredevils (DD) captain JP Duminy, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) captain George Bailey, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Gautam Gambhir, Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma, Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Shane Watson, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain David Warner will be present at the venue. Gautam Gambhir, the skipper of defending champions KKR, will flag off the new season by putting the IPL trophy back on the pedestal and it will be up for grabs for any of the eight teams.
IPL season 8 2015 theme song ‘India Ka Tyohaar’ is also trending nowadays. Last year, in 2014 IPL T20 league, Kolkata Knight Riders were the winners.
