Standup comedy group All India Bakchod (AIB) has come up with a new initiative video to Save The Internet. AIB’s Save The Internet initiative video asks people to save the internet and Net neutrality in India. Bollywood stars have shown their support to #SaveTheInternet initiative which is started by AIB.

Before this initiative, AIB created a controversy with their AIB Roast video in January 2015.  The AIB’s Save The Internet video is posted on YouTube on 11th April 2015, Saturday and Lacs of people have watched it. AIB’s Save The Internet video is 9 minute long which states that Internet service providers and governments should treat all data on the Internet equally, not discriminating or charging differentially by user, content, site, platform, application.

What is Net Neutrality? :

Net Neutrality is an “idea that internet service providers give their customers equal access to all lawful websites and services on the internet, without giving priority to any website over another”

Due to intense lobbying by telecom operators like Airtel and Vodafone, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is planning to allow them to block apps and websites to extort more money from consumers and businesses – an extreme violation of net neutrality.

AIB are here to make sure you do save the internet.
